Kant’s Political Philosophy

In this course we will cover the main aspects of Kant's political philosophy through extensive reading of Kant's writings and secondary literature. We will cover Kant's thoughts on topics like enlightenment, peace, freedom, the social contract, race, the obligation to obey the law, the creation of the state, colonialism, revolution, property, and punishment.
