Panel Discussion – Importance of LGBTI Youth Voices & Role Models in Entrepreneurship

The purpose of the seminal panel is to spark discussions and highlight the need for promoting LGBTI voices to create an inclusive and more vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. The discussion will also focus on building conducive support systems to foster greater participation of LGBTI community in the entrepreneurial sector and how role models can play an important role in achieving the same.
The dialogue is a part of the closing ceremony of our flagship initiative – Innovations Marketplace for Gender Equality, a one-of-a-kind incubation program to support social innovators working for the LGBTI & mitigating gender-based violence.
The program is led by UNDP India in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission (NITI Aayog). As a part of the initiative, the InfoEdge Centre for Entrepreneurship at Ashoka University incubated 20 social entrepreneurs from different parts of the country, over the last 4 months.
