Panel Discussion – Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Skilling Ecosystem for LGBTI+ Youth

On World Youth Skills Day, this panel discussion aims to highlight the need & opportunity for the LGBTI+ youth to achieve socio-economic growth & reduce the inequality gap through pursuing entrepreneurship. The discussion will also focus on how skill development can play an important role in achieving the same.
The dialogue is a part of the closing ceremony of our flagship initiative – Innovations Marketplace for Gender Equality, a one-of-a-kind incubation program to support social innovators working for the LGBTI & mitigating gender-based violence.

The program is led by UNDP India in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission (NITI Aayog). As a part of the initiative, the InfoEdge Centre for Entrepreneurship at Ashoka University incubated 20 social entrepreneurs from different parts of the country, over the last 4 months.
