Social Innovation Summit 2020

The Centre for Social Impact and Philanthropy (CSIP) convened its 2nd annual Social Innovation Summit on November 18-19. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, #SIS2020: “Technologies for Resilience,” focussed on providing tech strategies to address challenges related to the digital divide, fundraising, mental health and well being, and programme outcomes. More than 1,300 representatives from NGOs, social enterprises, foundations, and CSR teams registered for the 2-day online event. Featured speakers included: Apar Gupta of Internet Freedom Foundation; Anant Bhagwati of Dasra; Naghma Mulla of Edelgive Foundation; Ashif Shaikh of Jan Sahas; and Arvinder Singh of the Centre for Well-Being.
(#SIS2020 was commended by Ungender Talks for having a robust and well represented panel of 13:6 ratio of women to men experts:
