Named Intellectual Assets
In keeping with our vision of building a hub for high-quality research, Ashoka has embarked on a range of path breaking research initiatives. In the recent years, several new centres, schools, departments, and laboratories have been established at the University. They promote inter and multidisciplinary work in a range of subjects including data science, political economy, policy-making, disease biology, and archaeology.
Donors who have an interest in Ashoka’s intellectual pursuits could engage with and support intellectual assets. These include, but are not limited to, endowed faculty chairs, Centres of Excellence, and research collaborations.
Some funded intellectual assets that have been named after our Founders –
- Trivedi School of Biosciences
- Mphasis Laboratory for Machine Learning and Computational Thinking
- Info Edge Centre for Entrepreneurship
- The Sunanda and Santimay Basu Chair for teaching and research in astrophysics
