Benjamin Winokur’s doctoral dissertation in Philosophy was titled “Knowing and Expressing Ourselves.” He has worked as an Adjunct Professor of Philosophy at York University, and as an Adjunct Professor of Business Analytics at Seneca College.
Currently, Dr Winokur conducts most of his research at the intersection of contemporary analytic epistemology and philosophy of mind. His recent publications address three specific questions: how do you know what your mental states are at a given time; why does having such self-knowledge matter in the first place; and to what extent should you trust another person when they tell you what is going on in their mind?
