Kaushik Tekur

Kaushik Tekur earned his Bachelor’s in English from Madras Christian College and his Master’s in English from Hyderabad Central University. He is about to submit his dissertation on police power and eighteenth-century literary forms at Binghamton University (State University of New York).

His recent work has appeared or is forthcoming in Eighteenth-Century Fiction, Literature/Film Quarterly, LA Review of Books, and The Keats-Shelley Review.

His research and teaching interests include Global Eighteenth-Century Literature, Romanticism, Police Studies and Human Rights, Black Studies, Adaptation Studies, Digital Humanities, and caste in South India.
