Paras holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) and a Professional Degree in Law (LLB) from CCS University. He joins us with nearly 30 years of experience in the publishing and tech industry where he’s led functions across revenue, business development, publishing, and marketing.
In his last role, Paras was the Product Director at Oxford University Press (OUP) and led their product development efforts in India. At OUP, he was also the Business Head and Director of Higher Ed, Trade and Professional Businesses. Prior to OUP, Paras worked with Wiley India with Executive Publisher being his last position. Paras has worked extensively with leading academic institutions, faculty, publishers, and other key industry players across India and globally to establish and scale new publishing businesses and introduce innovative tech products in the market. His vision for AshokaX is to become a world-class platform that caters to the evolving needs of learners across the world and become a market leader offering innovative and future-forward programs.
Paras is an avid reader with a deep interest in history and poetry. He enjoys following international politics, travelling, and meeting and learning from people across different walks of life
