Professor Bilimoria was Chancellor’s Scholar and Visiting Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, before joining the Graduate Theological Union as Distinguished Teaching & Research Fellow. He is honorary professor at the Deakin University and senior fellow at Melbourne University in Australia. His research interests include Contemporary and Classical Indian Philosophy; Comparative Philosophy & Ethics; Post-Colonial Studies; Psychology of Emotions; Indic Cross-Cultural Studies; Hindu and Indian Ethics; Indian and Hindu Diaspora Studies. He has taught on four continents, is co-editor-in-chief of the journals Sophia and Journal of Dharma Studies, and is known internationally for his work on Indian Philosophy and Ethics. Professor Bilimoria comes to Ashoka as Fulbright-Nehru Distinguished Fellow.
