Yasmeen Tayebbhai graduated from CEPT, as an architect, and has had her own private architectural practice for the last 25 years in New Delhi. She has been almost wholly engaged in the pursuit of architectural practice for all that while, but has also worked as a graphic designer off and on. She has written on architecture for newspapers and guide books, especially on Fatehpur Sikri, on which she has done extensive research as her thesis project. She has taught at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, and is a visiting juror in the Art department there. She draws and paints and plays the piano in her spare time.
