Statement on Social Media Comments
Ashoka University is aware that there are some posts on social media apparently by some students studying at the University that have expressed statements against the Indian Army.
Ashoka University is proud of the Indian armed forces. We are indebted to the armed forces for the role they are playing in defending the borders of the country at a particularly difficult time on the frontiers. As a University and a community, we express our wholehearted support and admiration for their courage in the midst of extreme adversity.
We do not endorse or in any manner countenance the views expressed by these students.
