Saswata Choudhury

Saswata Choudhury is a Kolkata-based sarod player, composer, and collaborator whose work bridges tradition and contemporary musical expression. Having performed across India, he has shared the stage with artists from diverse musical backgrounds and has been involved in numerous cross-genre collaborations. His performance and recording credits include Bollywood projects, television commercials, and independent productions. Trained in the rich traditions of Indian classical music, Saswata brings a distinctive voice to both solo and ensemble settings. Beyond music, he holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics, reflecting a deep interest in language, culture, and the ways human expression connects communities.
