Ishani Dubey

Some of Ishani’s earliest memories involve packing boxes. Being a Navy brat meant home was always changing: new city, new school, new accent. Born in Ghazipur, UP, she grew up collecting pieces of places and people, from Delhi slang picked up in PG fights to her mother’s stubbornness and her father’s habit of listening before speaking. Years of being the perpetual outsider somehow became a career, taking her from gram panchayat meetings to election war rooms across India. She wants to take YIF as her next posting, a place where diverse perspectives are treated as opportunities rather than obstacles.
