Tamoghna Chowdhury is a recent Economics graduate from Hindu College, University of Delhi. His research interests span the intersection of development economics, political economy of gender, and behavioural economics, with a critical emphasis on institutional failures and accountability mechanisms: who bears the cost of institutional failure, and why does anyone so rarely answer for it? He wishes to pursue further studies in fields adjacent to, and beyond, institutional economics and economic behaviour under uncertainty. Sensitised equally by heterodox and liberal economic traditions, he finds himself drawn to the contested terrain where markets, institutions, and human agency intersect and to the question of what happens when each fails the other.
