What are the key components of the Young India Fellowship?

The YIF is designed to provide a well-rounded, holistic learning experience. Its core elements include Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Courses across diverse fields, Critical Inquiry and Expression (CIE) to hone analytical skills, and an Immersive Experiential Learning Module (ELM) for real-world projects.

What credential will I receive after completion of the Fellowship?

Upon successful completion of the Young India Fellowship, you will be awarded a Post-Graduate Diploma in Interdisciplinary Studies from Ashoka University.

Who is eligible to apply for the Young India Fellowship?

Candidates with a recognised undergraduate degree in any discipline (or equivalent) are eligible to apply, making it a truly multidisciplinary programme. Final-year undergraduate students are also welcome. Work experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Tejas Bhatotia is transitioning from corporate strategy to purposeful impact. An MBA from JBIMS, he drove a 600 Cr card portfolio at ICICI Bank as a Product Manager and led 100+ member teams at SBI Card as their youngest ASM. In this journey of change, Tejas pursued a course in journalism and published multiple articles. Leveraging his multidisciplinary background, Tejas aspires to make a career inroads in either foreign policy or security studies. Tejas is also an avid athlete, a trekker, a sustainable living advocate, and dad to eight dogs.
