Born as a second-generation Tibetan in exile in India, Tenzing grew up with an awareness of power of identity, community, and storytelling. Graduating second in her class in Media Technologies and Journalism, she has combined her passion for stories with a commitment to social impact. As a young advocate for Tibet, she has taken on leadership roles that engage and mobilize youth to advocate for Tibet. She is also an avid traveler who enjoys connecting with people from different backgrounds and learning through their experiences. Through her work in the development sector, she hopes to amplify marginalized voices and contribute to advancing a framework of trust-based philanthropy that centers dignity, partnership, and community-led change.
