Vaishnav is a psychology student driven by intellectual curiosity and a keen interest in the intersection of health, behaviour, and the systems that shape them. Influenced by family experiences, he pursued training in psychology and gained exposure to palliative care and hospital settings, where he observed the psychological challenges faced by patients, caregivers, and healthcare workers. His self-directed academic journey has been marked by a commitment to becoming a proficient scholar-practitioner. Vaishnav aspires to strengthen mental healthcare in India through research, training, and institution-building that integrates culturally congruent evidence-based psychological care with current healthcare systems.
