Biro K Sangtam

Growing up in remote Nagaland without access to libraries, Biro developed an interest in stories and writing by reading old textbooks from his family’s storeroom. In college, he actively participated in student communities, including AIESEC, and contributed to student initiatives in Delhi. He holds a master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Delhi and has worked under the Highland Institute on reconstructing tribal cosmology and epistemology through folklore. He also co-founded Do Shang, a discussion forum to encourage discourse and preserve local culture and literature. He enjoys exploring ideas and understanding social structures, and aspires to pursue a career in academia.
