Danish Aslam

Danish Aslam is an undergraduate student of history at Aligarh Muslim University, with an interest in socio-cultural and gender history. They have worked on artifacts and museum-related projects at the National Museum and did field-based community research with the National Foundation of India. Their field work in Jabalpur looked at the issues of education, employment, and access to public services among the transgender community. Danish focuses on understanding how caste, gender, and identity shape daily life and access to systems in India. They plan to continue their higher education in the social sciences and engage in research grounded in lived experiences.
