Dawood Rashid Dohi

Dawood Rashid Dohi, hailing from Kupwara, Kashmir, is currently a final-year student of English Literature at Ramjas College, University of Delhi. His academic interests entail ethnomusicology, gender and sexuality studies, and social anthropology. Belonging to the Gujjar-Bakarwal nomadic tribe of Jammu and Kashmir, he intends to pursue research on the folk performances and cultural traditions of his community. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dawood is the Co-founder and Managing Director of the Consortium of Global Scholars, a student-led initiative aimed at enhancing research literacy at the University of Delhi and beyond.
