Disha is a doctor by training, but her story refuses to stay inside a hospital ward. She has always been fascinated by the world beyond her profession, and wants to explore new avenues of thinking about public health problems and their solutions. Her research work spans palliative care, financial toxicity in cancer, diversity in policy-making, and medical education. In her spare time, she loves to read books on a diverse range of topics. She is very fond of listening to music, and also plays the piano. She brings curiosity, energy, and a passion for learning.
