Namdev Devkate

Namdev Devkate has recently completed his a Master’s degree in Economics at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune. He comes from an Aspirational Block in Maharashtra and is a first-generation learner. As the first student from his block to apply for the YIF, he sees himself as a representative of his community. He completed his undergraduate studies at Fergusson College, Pune, where his interest in international economic and development economics grew. Namdev values equity, empathy, teamwork, and servant leadership. Outside academics, he enjoys reading literature, writing poetry, performing at open mic events, and travelling, which help him stay grounded and observant.
