Sohini Banerjee

Sohini holds a Master’s degree in Media and Cultural Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and is trained as an ethnographer. She researches the intersections of informal labour studies, feminist knowledge production, and critical caste and technology studies, specialising in infrastructures shaping care work in urban India. She also engages in media production and enjoys making non-fiction films. Currently, as a research analyst, she works in the policy space around development, justice, and human rights in conflict contexts. She aspires to be a labour studies scholar-practitioner, working with transformative knowledge and politics from the margins.
