Mumtaz Mohiuddin is a researcher from Kashmir, passionate about studying religion and culture during India’s Medieval and Early Modern era. She earned her undergraduate degree from Miranda House, Delhi University, and completed her Masters in History at Jamia Millia Islamia. Mumtaz is a heritage walk leader, leading curious souls on heritage walks in Delhi and Kashmir. Beyond academia, she loves learning Persian, drawn by its lyrical beauty and its profound influence on history. As the pages of history turn, Mumtaz finds solace and inspiration in the flickering lights of the silver screen, where stories come alive, reflecting and shaping societal narratives. Mumtaz envisions a future where her interdisciplinary research transcends boundaries and enriches our understanding of human societies.
