Rahul believes his engagement with the National Service Scheme made him realise there is much more to explore outside the scope of formal academia. After his graduation, he ventured into the arena of filmmaking. He was associated with a cinema group ‘Spandan Pariwar’ working at the grassroots in Maharashtra, where his character was shaped profoundly. Observing and experiencing the making of a film, made him question things more and also introspect life rigorously. Through the YIF, he hopes to expand his mind by exploring a spectrum of things and discovering the unknown. He aspires to contribute to human endeavours that would make his life more than just himself.
