Shahambare T is a passionate advocate for making quality higher education accessible to everyone, with over 6 years of experience in outreach, admissions, communications, stakeholder engagement, and social media management.
One of her notable projects is “Memory Lane,” an Instagram Live series created during the pandemic. This series highlighted the talents of more than 18 alumni, showcasing their skills in music, dance, art, and speech across two seasons. She has also covered over 100 alumni stories through the #PostYIFPathways initiative, celebrating their unique journeys. She helped co-create “A Day at YIF,” a digital experience that reimagined outreach during COVID-19. She has led over 50 college and community presentations, reached more than 3,000 potential applicants, and organized in-person coffee chats across the country to connect with future students.
Shahambare is trained in Carnatic music and plays the Veena. She has a deep appreciation for heritage, art, Indic philosophy, and Bhakti literature.
