Abhinav recently completed his undergraduate degree in International Relations at King’s College London. He has led the Media and Journalism Policy Centre at King’s Think Tank, exploring how media and memory shape politics today. He finds comfort in reading contemporary history, writing poetry, and playing the piano, where small patterns grow into something whole. As an Indian-American, he feels closely connected to both Indian and American political life. Through the YIF, Abhinav hopes to deepen his understanding of public life and envisions empowering people to demand accountability, fostering a ‘humanist’ approach to politics and international relations. Abhinav hopes to dive into new ways of thinking, meet people who see the world differently, and find the courage to build a life that feels true, creative, and possible.
