YIF Class of 2026
Facilitator at SowGood Foundation, New DelhiDharmendra Mahto belongs to a farming family from a small village in Jharkhand. Growing up in a disadvantaged society, he experienced the challenges faced by the rural community, which piqued his interest to pursue a BSc in Agriculture, Rural and Tribal Development to advance agriculture, making it affordable and sustainable. Furthermore, he pursued an MA in Development from Azim Premji University and graduated in 2024. He currently works as a facilitator, leading farm development sessions for school children, aiming to connect young minds with nature. Dharmendra aims to contribute meaningfully to the YIF cohort, expanding his knowledge through diverse perspectives and collaborative learning. For him, joining the YIF is a transformative step.
