Politics, gender and religion, Nargis’ evenings are spent in long conversations around these topics with her mom over a cup of chai. She loves photography, history, and rummaging through her late grandfather’s library. With a master’s degree in Women’s Studies and a career in copywriting, Nargis enjoys wallowing in Iranian and Malayalam movies. She hopes to build a community under the e-magazine ‘Dastharkhaan’, fostering discussions, discourses and dialogue. At the core of her endeavours, Nargis hopes to be the voice of the voiceless and to make a tangible difference in the world. She is keenly aware that the next phase of her journey necessitates exposure of the highest quality—a rigorous, holistic programme that stretches her limits and aids her in chiselling her gazillion ideas. The YIF emerges as the pivotal or rather the missing piece in this puzzle.
