Nikhil Bilwe is a public policy researcher and social worker from Melghat, Maharashtra. He works closely with tribal and rural communities to help them understand and use government schemes in education, health, and jobs. He started the BRIGHT Social Organisation to make policies easier for people to access and to support families in need. Nikhil has worked with national and international organisations and led many research and awareness projects. As a first-generation learner, he dreams of creating fair and inclusive policies so that every person, no matter how far or forgotten, gets a chance to live with dignity. Nikhil wants to learn new ideas and ways of thinking at the YIF. His own life experiences have shown him why good policies matter, and he wants to help make better ones.
