Sooraj is an accomplished artist with extensive experience in theatre and performance. Currently a Guest Artist at Adishakti Laboratory for Theatre Art Research, he previously served as a residential artist there for five years. His work emphasises the integration of intellectual inquiry and creative expression, using theatre as a means of collective dialogue. Deeply committed to advancing pedagogy, Sooraj advocates for flexible curricula and collaborative learning models. His vision is to help build sustainable frameworks for art practice in India, bridging gaps in institutional support. He aspires to foster ecosystems where holistic growth is nurtured through individual cognitive expansion and the development of diverse social intelligences, with the arts functioning as a shared language.
