Yogeshwar Gupta

Yogeshwar grew up in the old city of Jaipur and saw continuous changes around them, which sparked their interest towards preserving the culture and built heritage of cities. Their focus on building more resilient urban spaces motivated them to study BSc Honours in Geography at Jamia Millia Islamia and participate in grassroots projects as an Abhijit Sen Rural Intern and Urban Mobility Champion Fellow, while simultaneously exploring alternative ways to better represent the complex messiness of urbanisation. Through the YIF, Yogeshwar seeks to widen their horizons and forge a path to work on sustainable and resilient local economies.
