Global Humanities Alliance (GHA)
Led by the University of Melbourne, Ashoka University is a founding institutional member of the Global Humanities Alliance, a vibrant network of eight leading universities across continents. AGRA’s role in the GHA spans facilitating and supporting faculty engagement, and leading communications, including social media for the alliance, internal communications within Ashoka and the network. |

Led by the University of Cambridge, Ashoka University is an active member of the Global Humanities Network—an initiative driven by the University of Cambridge since 2022. AGRA supports sustained engagement with this prestigious network and is actively exploring new pathways to deepen Ashoka’s role and amplify its impact on the global stage. |

Ashoka University holds the unique distinction of being the only international Sponsor of the National Humanities Center (NHC)—a premier independent institute dedicated to advancing the humanities. Amongst a cohort of elite U.S. liberal arts institutions, Ashoka’s partnership, facilitated by AGRA, reflects its global academic standing. |
Global Research Opportunities through Erasmus+ Partnerships
Ashoka University is proud to expand its international research collaborations through a series of research-led Erasmus+ partnerships, enabling rich academic exchange across key disciplines:
- Université Côte d’Azur, France (Erasmus+ Research Led Mobility)
- Linnaeus University, Sweden (Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility)
- Central European University (Erasmus+ PhD Mobility)
Franco-Indian Campus for Health
The Franco-Indian Campus for Health was born out of a consortium agreement between the following project partners: Université Côte D’Azur, Ashoka University, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, and the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology.
The Franco Indian Campus for Health is a unique and ambitious initiative driven by the French Government to bring together over 60 French and Indian universities, research institutions, labs, hospitals, start-ups and corporates to jointly develop and deliver higher education and research programmes for health challenges with a global impact.
Under the framework of the Franco-Indian Campus, Ashoka University will be hosting a Summer School in October 2025, as a collaboration between Ashoka University and Université Côte D’Azur.
