Ashoka University’s undergraduate course curriculum is taught across three semesters: Spring, Summer and Monsoon (Fall). Courses are broadly divided into three categories – Foundation Courses (core curriculum), Major & Minor Courses and Co-Curricular Courses.

This is a first course in microeconomics using calculus. The course is divided into four parts. In the first part, we will focus on consumers' problem of maximizing utility. In the second part, we will focus on producers' problem of minimizing cost. The third part focuses on partial and general equilibrium analyses in a perfectly competitive market. The fourth part focuses on partial equilibrium analysis in a monopoly market.
