Ashoka University’s undergraduate course curriculum is taught across three semesters: Spring, Summer and Monsoon (Fall). Courses are broadly divided into three categories – Foundation Courses (core curriculum), Major & Minor Courses and Co-Curricular Courses.

The course is dedicated to understanding causes and consequences of underdevelopment and how societies can move and have moved from being underdeveloped to being developed. We will explore how governments can intervene in facilitating the development process, as well as how researchers can evaluate government interventions in terms of their effectiveness.
