This course includes advanced topics in micro-econometrics which are used for data analyses, specifically for impact evaluation. It builds on the course work in introductory econometrics and its main objective is to equip students to carry out empirical data analyses in economics. Both theory and its application will be the thrust of this course. Theoretical instruction will involve class lectures and discussions while applications will be learnt through in-class demonstrations and assignments. STATA will be used for instruction of applications.
