Workshop in Macroeconomics

Code: ECO-7902-1

Faculty: Anshumaan Tuteja

This course is for students who would like to engage in a deeper understanding of empirical macroeconomics by discussing research papers that are of interest for their PhD. I have a list of papers in mind that we can cover during the workshop. However, I would strictly prefer a list of papers from your side and we can then select the papers to be presented based on a discussion over May-July, 2024. These papers should be either classic papers or recent research that is likely to be an important contribution to the field.

In addition, you are welcome to present ideas for a paper that you are planning to write as part of your PhD dissertation. It does not have to be a job market idea necessarily. But, it should be developed enough to have a good discussion with participants of the workshop.

This course is also open to any final year student who wishes to learn about the latest techniques employed in empirical macroeconomics.

Please refer to the document below for other details.
