Ashoka University’s undergraduate course curriculum is taught across three semesters: Spring, Summer and Monsoon (Fall). Courses are broadly divided into three categories – Foundation Courses (core curriculum), Major & Minor Courses and Co-Curricular Courses.

This course is compulsory for all Economics Majors, PPE as well as Economics Minors. The course
introduces students to the mathematical techniques necessary for the study of economics at the
undergraduate level. Amongst other topics, the course will cover univariate and multivariate calculus,
optimization and linear algebra
