Ashoka University’s undergraduate course curriculum is taught across three semesters: Spring, Summer and Monsoon (Fall). Courses are broadly divided into three categories – Foundation Courses (core curriculum), Major & Minor Courses and Co-Curricular Courses.

This is the first course of the graduate econometric sequence. The goal of this course is to provide a good understanding of the econometric theory that underlies some of the most common econometric models. We will began with a selective review of probability and statistical concepts and then discuss in details the classical linear regression models, non i.i.d. errors and generalized least squares, maximum likelihood estimation etc.
