Econometrics 2

Code: ECO-6402-1

Faculty: Kanika Mahajan

The course is designed to equip students with theoretical and practical tools for causal identification in empirical research. It builds on Econometrics I to cover advanced econometric methods, such as experiments, matching techniques, instrumental variables, panel data, differences-in-differences, and regression discontinuity designs, with the explicit aim of measuring causal relationships using real-world data. The problem sets will be data driven and students are expected to present and critically engage with academic papers and replicate published empirical studies.
