Cosmic Messengers – II (Observation)

This course describes the instrumentation used to detect and analyse astronomical signals and introduces the student to real data acquired with professional astronomical equipment, including space-based observatories.  A computation laboratory is used for analysing the data.  This will equip the student to deal with research-level astronomical data streams.

Prerequisite: Observing the Cosmos or Physics Lab 1
