The world is a graveyard of businesses that got distracted. There is an adjacent graveyard of organisations which did not change or innovate and became increasingly irrelevant.
With the growing startup culture and businesses facing unprecedented challenges such as COVID-19, it is extremely important to build businesses that are relevant and resilient. How does service excellence help to achieve this goal? What are the challenges and necessary tools to scale up an existing business/institution without compromising on the aim, values or quality? How to build customer-focused businesses while also creating an employee first culture? Will the proposed strategy to scale up bring about a tremendous amount of efficiency or growth, without walking away from what is fundamental to the business? How to intertwine an organization’s internal values and external brand elements? What are some of the entrepreneurial principles that can be used in scaling up institutions, and how that can be differentiated from conventional methods of scaling up? How to create a homegrown brand that is widely recognized and becomes the industry standard? How can learnings from one industry, such as airlines, be used in a principally different sector?
This course aims to teach you how to pursue excellence in organizations, communities and for an individual. The course will be taught by a seasoned business leader who has worked across industries such as aviation, lifestyle, hospitality, social impact etc. The course will use real-life examples and case studies combined with sessions with industry experts and field visits.
