Kattaikkuttu: Musical Theatre of Tamil Nadu

This course will present an integrated overview of Kattaikuttu, a theatre form from northern Tamil Nadu that combines music, dance and acting. Rajagopal and Hanne run a school near Kanchipuram that combines scholastics and training in Kattaikuttu. The course work will be both practical and theoretical. As an essential part of the course, the students will spend five days near Kanchipuram at Rajagopal and Hanne's school for intensive training.
