This course will give students the opportunity to learn about topics in law that are pertinent to
entrepreneurship and starting up. Students will learn about the laws, rules and regulations of
running a commercial enterprise, the hierarchy of Indian civil and criminal courts, and the
principles of contract law and company law.
Other topics to be covered include criminal law and IPC, intellectual property rights, taxation,
competition law, insolvency law, different economic offenses, raising capital, and issues in the new
an economy like data privacy and the digital economy.
