You are invited to join the day long Citizen Science Awareness workshop on Saturday, Nov 22nd.

Citizen Science projects in various areas of sciences have flourished worldwide. The importance of contributions from scientists and non-scientists alike in Citizen Science projects have found places in publications and also created a foundation for Nobel prize winning research. Citizen science projects break barriers – anyone can participate- children, elderly, people outside academic spaces.

The workshop will feature Prof. Manu Prakash, inventor of Foldscope and other frugal tools, and Seasonwatch bird watching activities, along with Citizen Science endeavors at Ashoka. The talks and hands on workshop will allow learnings on how to engage in citizen science projects at Ashoka and beyond.
