The Climate Workforce Summit marks five years of the Climate Corps Fellowship in India (called Ashoka-Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellowship) and serves as a strategic platform to advance the national dialogue on building a skilled, future-ready workforce for the green economy. Taking place on 1st November 2025 in Mumbai, the summit will convene leaders from business, government, philanthropy, academia, and civil society to tackle the most pressing questions at the heart of India’s green transition—ranging from regulatory shifts and corporate transformation to blue-collar skilling and climate career pathways.

Through keynote addresses, panel discussions, alumni showcases, and curated networking, the event aims to co-create actionable strategies for embedding sustainability into workforce development. We are proud to be shaping these conversations with our anchor partners—AXA Climate, The Climate Party®, and the Career Development Office, Ashoka University.
