Speaker Bio: Dr. Maaz Bin Bilal is Associate Professor, Literary Studies at Jindal Global University. A poet, translator and cultural critic, he has taught UG courses on Translating India and Introduction to Urdu: History, Politics & Poetics.
Dr. M.B.Bilal, has recently translated Temple Lamp: Verses on Banaras.
(Chiragh-e-dair, Persian) by Mirza Ghalib and written a critical introduction. Translated directly from Persian into English in full, for the first time, what does it tell us about Kashi?
