About the Speaker: Prof. Vikram Vyas is an Independent Scientist, PhysicsInField, New Delhi. He obtained his Ph.D. in physics from Boston University followed by post-doctoral positions at the University of Wuppertal, Germany and at the University of Utah, USA. He has been an associate of Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy and DAAD Guest Professor in physics at the University of Regensburg Germany. His main research interest is in theoretical particle physics. He is also interested in developing mathematical models and software to facilitate sustainable use of water resources. He has been a faculty member at St. Stephen’s college and at Shiv Nadar University. Prof. Vyas has also been visiting professor for physics in Ashoka University previously.
