Title of the Talk: “PRACTICE, PATIENCE AND SERENDIPITY IN STREET PHOTOGRAPHY” by Vineet Vohra

Abstract: In this engaging talk, renowned street photographer Vineet Vohra will share the process of his practice, exploring the intricate interplay between the spontaneity of street photography and the art of storytelling. Vohra will share his experience into how our perception shapes what we see, revealing the hidden narratives within everyday moments captured on the streets. By examining the principles of classical theories, he will illustrate how visual elements come together to create a cohesive story, emphasising the importance of context and composition in photography. Through personal anecdotes and striking imagery, Vohra invites the audience to embrace serendipity, encouraging them to find beauty and meaning in the unexpected encounters of urban life. Join us for an inspiring discussion that not only enhances our appreciation of street photography but also deepens our understanding of the stories that unfold around us every day.
