International Delegations and MoUs: Spring 2022

After a hiatus of almost two years due to the Covid pandemic, Ashoka international partners and potential partners visited campus after the mid-term break in March 2022. These visits started with a faculty-led delegation from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore followed by delegations from Yale, University of Melbourne, Kings College, Cornell University, amongst others. This helped to initiate, renew or start new conversations on international collaborations for Ashoka.

Here are some of the highlights:

GESP hosted NTU Singapore and discussed collaboration opportunities with the Vice Chancellor and Ashoka faculty in March 2022.

Prof. Tim Lynch, Associate Dean (international) and Dr. Dolly Kikon, Deputy Associate Dean Indi, both from Faculty of Arts at University of Melbourne visited Ashoka to meet faculty and GESP in April 2022.

A delegation from King’s College London led by President and Principal, Prof. Shitij Kapur visited Ashoka University to strengthen the existing partnership in April 2022. The delegates also had a great interaction with Ashoka students.

Dr. Sarah Besky from Cornell University visited Ashoka to discuss potential partnership as part of their new Global Hubs Initiative to promote research, student and faculty exchange with Ashoka in May 2022.
